FROM LOCAL FRICTION TO PLAYFUL MECHANICS
License Run began with a simple creative question: what if arriving prepared, finding the right documents and navigating a licensing process became the rules of an arcade game?
License Run is a Cayman Style digital experiment inspired by the conversations surrounding Cayman’s changing driver’s licence process. The experience takes the familiar friction of paperwork, preparation and verification and turns it into an arcade runner.
Players race through an exaggerated licensing office, collect documents, dodge obstacles and literally jump through hoops.
The result is part game, part parody and part interactive commentary on a moment happening in Cayman.
Find the voter ID, acknowledgement letter, status letter and passport.
Avoid red tape, signs, boxes and fast-moving office obstacles.
Finish with a fictional Caymanian License card and a score worth sharing.
