The Swanky Experiment

Cayman Style made its soft launch debut at the 56th Annual Agriculture Show, bringing Cayman’s national drink to life in a whole new way. We introduced the Collaboratory—a space where Caymanian traditions meet bold new ideas. Our first initiative, Swanky & Chill, transformed a simple drink into a full sensory experience.

Visitors stepped into the Botanical Lab installation, where they could taste-test Swanky—featuring variations from local vendors and culture-makers. More than 600 cups of Swanky were served for free, with over 100 people trying it for the first time. Fusion Mixology stepped into the lab, crafting the OG Swanky, a sparkling twist called the Swanky Fizz and Swanky Iced, a refreshing sno-cone style. We also included Swanky-infused boba, prepared by Cayman Boba, providing a fun, chewy addition.

The striking installation was designed and built by Charlotte Crocker, a multidisciplinary creative specializing in set design and creative direction. ZEAL Creative Agency provided the concept and content creation, Reach Marketing & Experiences led the full-scale coordination and outreach, while also incorporating their crowd-favorite CO2 cannon—giving visitors a playful cool-down moment that perfectly captured the refreshing essence of Swanky on a scorching Cayman day.

To deepen the experience, the space was infused with diffused citrus scents, it featured Swanky-inspired lip gloss by Caymanera Cosmetics, and echoed with a lively playlist from our beloved Swanky Kitchen Band—engaging all the senses!

Hundreds of locals and visitors walked away not only enjoying the drink but also learning that Swanky is Cayman’s official national drink.

With the support of the Ministry of Youth, Sports & Heritage, this collaboration between local brands and creatives came to life. Special thanks to Hon. Isaac D. Rankine for trusting us to honor our heritage while embracing creativity—preserving tradition while allowing Cayman’s culture to evolve and be experienced in new ways.
